Well-Being
At Brimpton Primary School the well-being of every member of our Brimpton Family is valued and looked after. Children regularly raise awareness of Mental Health Day by wearing yellow into school and our wonderful School Council organise activities that involves being together and talking. Heidi Davies is our Mental Health Lead and has termly meetings with the MHST. These are surgeries where we can discuss children and their families that need help and support. We are proud to have been part of the MHST for the past three years and many families have accessed support and guidance.
Staff are invited to attend Well-Being Staff Meetings when they have the opportunity to reflect on their own mental health and their work life balance. Staff are encouraged to leave promptly at the end of the school day unless there are meetings and we ask all staff to chose a 'Well-Being Day' to to something nice for themselves.
Communicating about how we feel is encouraged in our School - it is always good to talk and asking for help is brave.
